General

The protection of your personal data has a high priority for Synergetik GmbH. It is important to us to inform you about which personal data we process and for what purposes. The processing of your personal data is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO).

Usage of the website

The use of our website is usually possible without providing personal information. As far as personal data (for example name, address or E-Mail addresses) is raised on our website, this is always on a voluntary basis (for example, entries in the contact form). This data will not be disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent.

Server-Logfiles

Description and scope of data processing

Each time our website is accessed, our provider automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the calling computer. The following data will be collected:

  • Information about the browser type and version used
  • The operating system of the user
  • The Internet service provider of the user
  • The IP address of the user
  • Date and time of access
  • Websites from which the system of the user comes to our website
  • Websites that are accessed by the user’s system through our website

The data is also stored in the log files of our system. A storage of this data together with other personal data of the user does not take place.

Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis for the temporary storage of data and log files is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Purpose of data processing

The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to allow the delivery of the website to the computer of the user. To do this, the user’s IP address must be kept for the duration of the session.

Storage in log files is done to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, the data is used to optimize the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. An evaluation of the data for marketing purposes does not take place in this context.

For these purposes, our legitimate interest in the processing of data is according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Duration of storage

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose of its collection. In the case of collecting the data for providing the website, this is the case when the respective session is completed.

In the case of storing the data in log files, this is the case after 60 days at the latest. An additional storage is possible. In this case, the IP addresses of the users are deleted or alienated, so that an assignment of the calling client is no longer possible.

Handling of personal data

If you contact us through the offered contact options, the information you provide will be stored so that they can be used to process and respond to your request. By providing your contact details, you agree that we may contact you in order to answer your request. We will not share your information with third parties.

Particularly sensitive personal data

We do not process any “sensitive personal data” via our website. “Personal data of particular value” means data referring to racial or political beliefs, religious or philosophical convictions, trade union membership, health or sexual life.

If you voluntarily provide us with sensitive personal information (for example, by submitting your curriculum vitae, job application, etc.), you expressly consent to the processing of such data as described in this policy.

Data security

All information that you enter in the contact form will be transmitted in encrypted form using modern Internet technology and processed exclusively for specific purposes.

Our website uses a transmission method that is based on the SSL protocol (Secure Sockets Layer Protocol). The latter allows encryption of all traffic between your browser and our server. This protects your data from manipulation and unauthorized access by third parties during the transfer.

We use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or total loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

Please note that data transmission over the Internet (for example, when communicating via e-mail) may have security vulnerabilities. Therefore, despite the aforementioned technological security measures against loss, misuse, alteration or destruction, no responsibility, liability or guarantee can be assumed that data is 100% protected against access by third parties.

Usage of Google Maps

On a few subpages our webpage uses the map service “Google Maps API” of Google Inc. to display the location of our company on an interactive map. In the process, information about the use of our webpage, including your IP address, is transmitted to Google servers in the USA and stored there.

Although Google undertakes not to divulge information to third parties under its own privacy policy, it also makes exceptions. The data collected in this way may therefore be transferred to third parties if required by law in the USA or if third parties process the data on behalf of Google. The privacy policy of Google Inc. can be found here:
http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

You have the option to turn off the map service and stop data transmission to Google. Deactivate Java Script in your browser. The interactive map to find our company is no longer available for you in this case.

Links to external sites

If there are links to external websites, our privacy policy is not applicable to their content. The data collected by the operators of the external sites may be beyond the knowledge and influence of Synergetik GmbH. Information can be found in the privacy policy of the external site.

Applications

If you send us an application (or similar), your documents and the personal data contained therein will be stored in order to process your application. We do not share this information with third parties without your consent. By sending the data to us, you agree to be contacted by us in a purposefully and reasonably manner.

No later than 2 months after the decision on filling the vacancy, your specified and submitted data will be deleted, unless you have reached a different agreement with us.

Legal basis for the processing of personal data

When we obtain a consent for the processing of personal data, it is in accordance to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as legal basis.

When the processing of personal data is necessary for the fulfillment of a contract with the affected person, it is in accordance to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO as legal basis. This also applies if processing of data is required to carry out pre-contractual actions.

When the processing of personal data is required to fulfill a legal obligation that is subject to our company, it is in accordance to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DSGVO as legal basis.

In the event that vital interests of the affected person or another natural person require the processing of personal data, it is in accordance to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d DSGVO as legal basis.

If processing is necessary to safeguard the legitimate interests of our company or a third party, and if the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the affected person do not prevail over the first interest, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO is the legal basis for processing.

Duration of storage

The personal data of the affected person will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of the storage has ended. The duration of storage may be extended if this is intended by the European or national legislator in EU regulations, laws or other regulations to which the responsible is subject. A blocking or deletion of the data takes place even if a storage period prescribed by the mentioned standards expires, unless there is a need for the further storage of the data for a contract or a contract fulfillment or has been determined differently in a voluntary agreement with us.

As affected person, you have the following rights regarding the processing of your personal data:
